$NOT IN BOSTON

The pandemic hasn’t stopped $NOT from gaining incredible momentum in his career, with major hits such as “GOSHA” and his feature on Cochise’s “Tell Em”. I was fortunate to catch him earlier this month on the first stop of his world tour at The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

$NOT’s show was the first concert I’ve been to post-pandemic, and it was a hell of an introduction back into live music. Both openers Brusho and KESHORE warmed the crowd (and the venue) up to an impressive degree. Once $NOT made his way to the stage you could almost see a misty cloud of sweat plume above the ecstatic fans.

As $NOT ran to the crowd to his first song of the night “Watch Out”, the bass of the speakers vibrated through my entire body and met with screams from the electric crowd. The energy was HIGH… and failed to let go as the show progressed.

$NOT was in no way shy to get intimate with his fans, joining them several times in the mosh pit for “Mean” and “Sangria”. I was impressed to see that he also played slower tracks, teasing the unreleased “Blue Moon (Pretty Lady)” off his recently announced album, Ethereal. The milky acoustics and $NOT’s moody vocals gave a moment of relief for the sandwiched crowd and for me an absolute reason to listen to his project when it drops.
